How would you describe your style? How do we know you're the right fit for us?


I take a pretty relaxed & non traditional approach to capturing your day. I like to keep it intimate and personal, steering well away from cliche wedding-y hot spots and staged wedding-y poses. I make it my priority to keep the day as stress free as possible and am here to document what really happens, rather than try to make you look like a couple from a wedding magazine. I'm here to give you beautiful and truthful pictures, with movement and emotion, that tell your story and represent the real stuff.

My wedding work is on the documentary & whimsical side of the wedding photography fence, with dashes of rawness, romance, soft focus & moodiness at times. I look for the intimacy in the 'in between' & unseen moments, searching for light, mood & beauty, sometimes in more unusual places.


What do we receive?


A Collection of 600 - 900 edited high resolution images on USB all individually edited by me, bundled up in a beautiful engraved wooden box, with gift 6x4 prints for your fridge wrapped in hand spun silk twine & sent to your doorstep within 8 weeks. Your images will also come in a personalised online gallery & print store to share with your loved ones. An I Got You Babe Welcome Pack will be emailed to you upon booking, to assist you with your timeline & to help you get the most out of your photography.


Can we see a whole wedding gallery?


Sure thing. Just email me with the couple that you'd like to see a full gallery for and I'll send you a private link.


Do you make those fancy wedding albums or 'FINE Art Books'?


Yes, these art books are gorgeous, to hold, to feel, to sit down & look through whenever you want to treat yourself to the the memories of the best day ever. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Fine Art Books are a beautiful way to tell the story of your day, they will last a lifetime and will be cherished by your family for generations. Your photographs should be printed, not kept hidden away in a drawer, and with archival ink on fine art paper, there are over 90 varieties of book cloth & linen covers to choose from, including a gorgeous Japanese Linen Range. All books are hardcover and feature flat-lay seamless spreads, 10" 10" and feature 38 spreads with 100 of your favourite wedding images, all beautifully pulled together in a unique design to tell the story of your day, to revisit any time you like. Do you also shoot Engagement sessions, Elopements, Portraits, COMMERCIAL WORK etc?


Yes! Just contact me for a full price list or check out for personal / commercial work. 


We are getting married in Country Victoria. Do you have any travel fees?


If the location is less than 1 hours drive from Brunswick, there is no additional travel fee. If I finish at 10PM and the location is over an hour away from home, I ask for one nights accommodation.


We are getting married Interstate / Overseas. How much does it cost for you to travel?


I’ve documented some pretty kick arse unique celebrations of love since 2011. My work has allowed me to travel all over the world, from the olive fields of Tuscany, to historic manors in Norway, hot islands of Malta, sunset beaches in Bali, rolling hills of New Zealand, and locally, from Perth, Brisbane, Tassie, Adelaide, Sydney and the most beautiful rural parts of northern NSW, near the hills where I was born. Travel costs may vary depending on where we are both located in the world at the time, but it's usually return airfares from Melbourne, 2 - 4 nights accommodation, a hire car and any other travel fees that I'll need covered to get me to you.


Can we meet up for a cuppa?


If you're keen on having a banter in person before the day, whether it's before you book or close to the wedding day to to discuss any details you'd like to go over, we can chat over the phone, Skype or I can meet with you & show you a fine art book in the flesh. If you can make it to Brunswick East on a week day during business hours, I'm all yours. If it's a bit of a mission, a Skype or phone meeting can easily be arranged. 


Can you provide custom "Thank You" cards for our guests & can we order 'Fine Art Prints' through you?


You most certainly can! Any size you wish is available. Standard size Fine Art prints can be ordered through your online gallery, but if you're after a custom size, just let me know. There are discounts on pre-purchased prints with your package.

How many weddings do you shoot per year?


I work closely with up to 24 beautiful couples per year. This is so I can stay energised and passionate for what I do. Unfortunately though, this limits the amount of other lovely couples I can say yes to. 


What if you're unavailable or already booked, can you recommend someone else to photograph our wedding?


I wish that I could photograph ALL of the lovely couples that write to me wanting to capture their special day, but sadly, I can only hold so many cameras! So, I created a little Collective called I Got You Babe & Co., a team of hand selected creatives who specialise in weddings, and who share the same emotive approach of whimsical, romantic & timeless  photography feel with the I Got You Babe aesthetic. To ensure that the I Got You Babe look is not lost, all imagery is edited & processed in the studio in the same way. I Got You Babe & Co. photographers are super talented artists, and most importantly, they love to shoot weddings just as much as I do. You can check us out here.


Which COLLECTION should we get?


Every wedding is different, so it makes sense to have custom collections to suit you. All Collections cover the day nicely & will give you a beautifully rounded collection of images, from the getting ready nerves & giggles, to one of my favourite parts, the ‘hugs’n’kisses’, all the way through to your guests getting a bit loose and capturing your Nanna having a good ole’ boogie on the dance floor. If you’re unsure of what you need, let’s have a chinwag! 


We are shy in front of the camera & feeling a tad nervous about having our photo taken.


Yes I know how you feel, I am the same. Usually people forget I am there after the first half an hour. I shoot documentary style for most of the day, and for your portrait session, we simply take a stroll, and my aim is to catch you in the most natural way without over posing. I will offer direction if needed and we’ll go around together looking for beautiful spots. I’m interested in catching the ‘in between’ genuine giggles, quiet romantic moments & letting you just be yourselves. I've been called the 'ghost' photographer before, I don't like to interfere in the natural flow of things. 


How do we go about planning our portrait session?


I like to leave around an hour for your portrait session, as this allows enough time to capture you with your bridal party (if you have one) as well as some nice quiet time alone with each other (which most couples appreciate). The best time I have found to plan your portrait session is to count 1 to 1.5 hrs backwards from the time the sun sets, making it during ’the golden hour' and into 'the blue hour' which are my favourite times of day to take photos as they are the most beautiful (you can find yours here.) Most people think that a sunny day makes for beautiful photos, when this is in fact, it is the opposite. Overcast days are perfect, but we can't control the weather, so just make sure to avoid the bright sunny outdoors for your ceremony & portraits, especially in the more summery months, around 5:30 - 6pm is always a good thing (otherwise shade will need to be found as we simply can't shoot in the sun), and making sure we don’t miss the light completely, before 5pm for winter weddings. If leaving your guests at the right time light wise is too difficult to co-ordinate due to daylight savings or clashes with other happenings, most of my couples take 15 minutes to go for an evening stroll close by the Reception venue to get those ‘magical light’ images, and I promise you won’t regret it. If there’s no sunset, a stormy sky is just as good, perhaps even better. And don’t worry your little heads about rain, a large brolly is always very romantic. 


Can you help us with our timeline?


I will more than happily guide you. My rough recommendations for Ceremony times is ~ for 'daylight savings' - around 5:30 - 6pm (to avoid brightness, heavy shadows, extreme heat, flies, squinting, sweating guests & good timing for your portrait session afterwards), & for 'non daylight savings' - around 2:30 - 3pm (to make sure we don't end up in the dark for your portrait session!) Depending on where in the world you are getting married also effects the timing light wise of your days events, so let's work together on it to make you up the perfect timeline. 


Do you supply us with the RAW files from the day?


Unfortunately I don't, sorry. The love, time & care that goes into every individual image as part of the post processing is just as significant as the capturing of the day itself, and defines the end product that you receive. Without this, the images would not be what they are.


Apart from family photos, do we need to provide you with a ’shot’ list of the images we would like?


As a documentary wedding photographer & a lover of candid beauty, I find that I work best capturing what I see in front of me & keeping it real & honest, looking for the real stuff rather than following a 'shot’ list and then potentially missing unexpected moments that may perhaps only be there for a few seconds & that I would hate to miss. I am a lover of the little details that you’ve gone to great efforts to create, as well as the bigger picture, and will work my butt off to make sure that the magic is captured. 


Do you have insurance & back up gear?


Yes & yes :) 


Do we need to feed you dinner (or lunch)?


Yes please! We tend to get quite the peckish by the time dinner (or lunch) time comes around after running around, so a meal always goes down nicely. We like to eat at the same time as your guests, as it means that we won't risk missing any speeches or other important bits.


Do you believe that same-sex couples should be allowed to get married?


Very much so. Hopefully all people in love will be able to marry each other anywhere in the world very very soon. 


Do you have a second shooter?


Yes, a second photographer can be available for $550 inc GST and is recommended for weddings with guest numbers over 100 as well as winter weddings when it gets dark earlier, to ensure that nothing is missed.

What gear do you use?


Canon Mark III's with Canon prime lenses. 


How do we book you for our wedding?


If I am available for your wedding and you're all ready to go, I'll send you a booking form, which you can have a read through and pay the $1100 inc GST deposit, and your booking will be confirmed. The balance is due four weeks before your wedding date.
