MY WORK
With a background in fine art, film & editorial, my photographs are on the documentary, gentle and poetic side. I use both film & digital cameras to look for intimacy & human connection in the 'in-between' & unseen moments. Using my love of soft light and film, my aim is capture the raw beauty & emotion that unfold on a wedding day, stealing moments that are timeless & precious keepsakes. I believe that trust, and feeling comfortable within a safe and stress-free space with your photographer is key to capturing the true emotions that you want to remember forever and see reflected back in your photographs.
I’ve been privileged enough to make pictures with some of the most wonderfully interesting, kind & beautiful people that I’ve met over the last decade as a wedding photographer. Based in Melbourne Australia, I have documented incredible and unique celebrations of love across the world, from Italy, France, Norway, Malta, Spain, Bali, New Zealand, and locally, from Perth, Brisbane, Tasmania, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne & some of the most beautiful rural parts of northern NSW.
I aim to capture you, surrounded by your loved ones in these moments, as your most vulnerable and authentic selves, evoking the warmth between you and reaching through to your true characters, capturing a real representation of who you are.
When you look at your wedding photos for years down the road, I want you to be able to relive the magic and many different emotions that made up the whole day ~ crushing hugs, wide-brimmed smiles, silly faces, beautiful tears, intense dance moves, and remember how full to the brim with love you both felt.
Now, it's time to get dressed up, feast on top-notch tucker & hand-selected booze, and perhaps have a good ole' boogie to some fine tunes with your best mates, family & love of your life. It may be a grand affair with all of the trimmings or an intimate elopement in a foreign country. Whatever your plans, I’d love to capture this extraordinary celebration of love and life in collaboration with you.

About ME
There are certain things in life that make my heart sing.. light light light, arthouse films, old architecture, any individual who can do a stunningly accurate Michael Caine impersonation, swimming in any water that I can find, gardening, firing off a few rolls of film, spontaneous trips to Europe & conversations that make me question things. I’m a bit of an old-school romantic which probably explains my career choice.
When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm immersed in commercial, editorial & fine art projects, pushing myself creatively, which then feeds back into the work I make with my couples.
My work has appeared in publications & magazines around the globe – including Harpers Bazaar, Vogue Australia, Elle, Marie Claire, Real Living, Belle, Jane by the Grey Attic (Aus), Art Aesthetica (UK), Il Fotografo Magazine (Italy), The Opera and Pétala Magazine (Germany), as well as appearing in feature films like Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed (USA). My work has been exhibited in Italy, Germany, Japan, the UK, the USA, and Australia, and been a finalist in the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize (2022 & 2021), Nillumbik Prize for Contemporary Art (2021), Fisher’s Ghost Art Award (2020), Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize (2022 & 2020), Du Reitz Art Awards (2020), Percival Photographic Art Prize (2020), National Portrait Prize (2019), Australian Photography Awards (2018) and Art Aesthetica Art Award (2018), to name a few.
