Film is captured intermittently throughout the day, and added throughout your digital collection. The fee includes the cost of film, development, and high-resolution JPEG scans from a professional film lab.
Film preserves moments with a quiet richness, bringing depth, texture, and a sense of nostalgia to every image. Each frame is crafted with intention, transforming fleeting scenes into enduring visual stories.
35mm film
35mm film begins at AUD $250 per roll, with a minimum of three rolls per booking. Each roll contains approximately 36 shots. This allows me to create a more complete and considered collection of images, capturing the atmosphere, details, and natural unfolding of your day with the timeless character unique to film.
A general guide for how many rolls you might need depends on your coverage!
For a full wedding day (8 hrs, getting ready to reception), I recommend at least 5 rolls.

What is your approach & style?
Approach
At the core of my imagery is a calm, non intrusive, fly on the wall approach. I quietly observe weddings as they naturally unfold, allowing moments to happen without interruption or unnecessary direction.
I'm naturally an extroverted introvert, and that really shapes the way I photograph. While I love connecting with my couples, I'm not the type of photographer to take over a room or fill every moment with instructions. Instead, I use that quietness as a tool.
I find that when couples are given space, they settle into themselves. Rather than focusing on the camera, they can focus on each other. Those are often the moments where genuine connection, emotion and chemistry naturally come to the surface.
Being observational also allows me to stay completely immersed in what's unfolding around me. I'm constantly looking for beautiful light, subtle interactions, fleeting expressions and all the small details that can disappear in a matter of seconds. Working this way helps me stay present and responsive to moments as they happen.
Many of my couples tell me that the experience feels less like being photographed and more like simply spending time together. That's always my goal. I want the day to feel relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable, so you can remain fully present rather than aware of the camera.
That said, I'm never going to leave you wondering what to do. If you need a little guidance or reassurance, I'll gently step in when needed. My role is to support the day, not direct it.
Working with a quiet, observational presence allows me to document people honestly and naturally, preserving moments as they are, unguarded, emotional and real.
Style
My style is candid, elegant, documentary and poetic, centred around emotion, atmosphere, movement and honest human connection. I am drawn to the quiet, often unnoticed in-between moments, fleeting gestures, intimacy, light, laughter, mood, and the subtle details that make a wedding day feel deeply personal and entirely its own.
My work is shaped by an editorial approach to image-making, I exhibit my artworks worldwide and have been commissioned by publications such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. I approach weddings with an artistic sensitivity to composition, light and feeling, creating imagery that feels natural, emotive and true to the experience of the day as it was lived. I’m drawn to image-making that feels elevated but still real.
My aim is not only to preserve what happened, but how it felt, the tenderness, joy, atmosphere and emotional truth held within it.

Do you travel?
Absolutely. I’ve been fortunate to document some truly incredible and unique celebrations of love across the globe, from Italy, France, and Norway to Malta, Spain, Bali, and New Zealand, as well as locally, from Perth, Brisbane, and Tasmania to Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, and some of the most stunning regions of northern New South Wales. Based in Melbourne, Australia, I would love to hear where your big day is taking place so I can provide you with a personalised quote.
Can we chat first?
Yes, absolutely. Let’s discuss the plans, details, and timelines. I am here for you, either over the phone or on Zoom, and am available during weekdays between 10am-6pm, or, get in touch if you need an out-of-hours call.
Can you help us with our timeline for the day?
Absolutely. Every wedding has its own rhythm, and I’m very aware of how quickly the day can move once everything begins.
If spending real time with your guests is important to you, I can shape the photography around that. I’ll help you work out where portraits, family photos and any key moments fit best, without pulling you away from the celebration for too long.
In our first chat, we’ll talk through the flow of the day together. From there, I can help you create a relaxed timeline that gives you space to enjoy yourselves, while still making room for the photographs that matter most.
I’m always more than happy to provide guidance and recommendations around timings, working with your schedule, venue and the time of year to make the most of the day. Feel free to reach out at any stage of the planning process if you'd like help with this. Planning timelines is something I do all the time, and I'm always happy to share what I've learned along the way.
Do you have back up equipment & public liability insurance?
Yes, most definitely. I always carry backup cameras and lenses, and I have public liability insurance of up to 20 million dollars.
Do you have dream vendor recommendations you can share with us?
Whether you’re seeking a videographer who keeps it authentic, a gown that’s a little different, a floral arch that will take your breath away, unforgettable food, or an intimate non-traditional venue, this is a curated selection of incredible vendors I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend these talented professionals to be part of your dream team. Link here
Do you recommend that we book a second photographer?
It’s usually just me working alongside you on the day. However, I may recommend a second photographer depending on the specifics of your wedding, such as guest count and event details. I’ll let you know if I feel a second photographer would be beneficial.
I generally advise booking a second photographer for weddings with 100 or more guests, or for events that are detailed and fast-paced throughout the day, particularly city & large-property weddings with multiple locations, driving, lots of walking, and parking logistics. Since I can only be in one place at a time, a second photographer provides an additional perspective and captures moments I may not be able to reach on my own.
Second photographers can be added for AUD $165 per hr inc GST, with a minimum of 6 hours and in line with the original hourly coverage.
While a second photographer assists in capturing the day, all editing and post-production is completed by me personally, ensuring the final gallery feels cohesive and consistent throughout.

How can we book you?
In order to remain present for every couple I work with, I take on only a limited number of weddings annually in Melbourne & across Australia. This allows me to approach each celebration thoughtfully and intentionally, creating photographs that feel intimate, atmospheric, and connected to the people within them.
Bookings are confirmed once your date is secured, and availability is limited.
Whether you’re planning a grand affair or an intimate elopement, I would be honoured to capture your celebration of love, life, and all that is meaningful.
I’m always more than happy to meet & chat via Zoom to ensure we align on what is most important to you.
To secure your booking, a non-refundable fee of $1500 is required, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance is due four weeks before the wedding date. All bookings are processed electronically. Prices are quoted in AUD and include GST.
